Please join us this Sunday, September 28th at 6:00pm for a potluck and on-location screening of the rushes from Cassandra Guan’s film Future Perfect. Recorded in real-time this reading group discussion of feminist temporality, Future Perfect explores the reading group as a horizontal space of knowledge production critical to contemporary political practice and redolent of the history of the women’s movement. Also on view is an array of feminist literature and works from Guan’s related print series titled Women's Times. Additional works from this series are on view at the Elizabeth Foundation of Art from September 12 - October 25 in the group exhibition, As We Were Saying: Art and Identity in the Age of "Post". The finished film will be shown at the Abrons Arts Center in 2015.
